The simple way to use a foot switch with Music Scroller is to buy a single USB PC footswitch. These are available on the internet and on Ebay for around £10. You simply need a single USB PC footswitch, and set it to simulate a SPACE bar press. This allows you to start songs scrolling with the footswitch, remember that when using "Playlists" in Music Scroller, when one songs ends, the next song loads automatically, so all you need do is press the footswitch again.

Advanced control with a triple footswitch Also available on the internet or Ebay are triple USB footswitches ( around £20 ), with the triple footswitch, you can control many more functions of Music Scroller with your foot. You can select and display any song in your database, then set that song scrolling.  If you are using Playlists in Music Scroller, you can exit the progression of the playlist and play any other song, then return to where you were in your playlist, all by using the three footswitches. ( set the left footswitch to simulate "arrow up", centre footswitch to "Space bar" and right footswitch to "arrow down" ) With three footswitches, you do not need to touch the PC keyboard or mouse to do an entire gig ( with or without using playlists )
